Carole was born on April 3, 1935 in Portland, Maine, to the late Leon and Treva (Quigley) Parsons, and came to this area in 1999 from Chelmsford, MA.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wildwood. Carole loved to play cards and board games, working puzzles, knitting, ceramics and crafts. The family camped in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and took many trips together to Lake Sunapee, Lake Winnipesaukee and Lake Winnisquam.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 66 years, Ernest; her son, Ernest J. Johnson and wife, Darlene of Ayer, MA; her daughters: Wanda Carbonneau and husband, Joseph of Hudson, FL, Cheryl “Sheri” Steele and husband, Ronald of Weeki Wachee, FL and Michelle “Shelley” Watson and husband, George, of Wildwood, FL; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild “on the way”. She also has several nieces and nephews in the New England area. Carole was preceded in death by her brother Leon Albert Parsons and his wife Marilyn.

Memorial services for Carole will be conducted on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM, at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, with her grandson, Shawn Smith of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Jacksonville, FL, officiating.
