Haley Maria Alexander, age 54, of Citrus Springs, FL, passed away at her residence on February 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Haley was born on September 16, 1963, in Miami, FL, to Antonio and Julie (Day) Feliciano.
She worked throughout her life as a server in the restaurant industry but her true occupation was crafting a loving home for her family. Haley moved to Citrus County at the age of 15 after relocating from Miami and met the love of her life, Clarence Alexander, at that time. They shared 22 loving years of marriage. In her spare time, Haley enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, bingo and fishing. She loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and Cheerleading competitions. Haley also looked forward to dinner with her family every Sunday.
In addition to her husband Clarence, those left to mourn Haley’s passing are her sons: Dante’ Anton Alexander (Devin Rivera) of Citrus Springs, FL, Armand Bentley of Beverly Hills; her father, Antonio Feliciano of Inverness, FL; her twin sister, Julie Pacheco (Kenny McNeil) of Inverness, FL; sisters: Diane Pacheco of Beverly Hills, FL, Kim Spencer (Jay) of Jacksonville, FL, Vickie Nichols (Randy) of Inverness, FL, Delia Tuten (Kevin) of McEwing, TN, Michelle Feliciano of McEwing, TN, Christina Pacheco of Miami, FL; brothers: Louis Pacheco (Marlene) of Floral City, FL, Alan Feliciano of Inverness, FL, Daniel Feliciano (Tammy Diaz) of Beverly Hills, FL; grandchildren: Zmyrah Lashay and Dante’ Alexander, Jr. of Citrus Springs, FL; brothers in law: Clyde Alexander (Claudette), Madison, FL, Douglas Alexander (Theresa), Citrus Hills, FL, Tim Alexander, Johnell Alexander and Kermit Alexander, all of Hernando, FL; sisters in law: Joanne Bass, Tampa, FL, Linda Simmons (Melvin) of Hernando, FL, Brenda Thomas (Wayne) of Inverness, FL, Travis Ford, Madison, FL, Pearline Alexander of Inverness, FL, Stephanie Richardson of Beverly Hills, FL, Diane Alexander, Inverness, FL; aunts: Jewel Atkins (Frank), of Holder, FL, Geneva Bell of Orlando, FL; lifelong friend and sister, Donna Healey Williams; goddaughter, Domnique Hollis; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friends: Polly Key, Chiedene Tenner, Brenda Kent and Detective Al Key. Haley was preceded in death by her son Clarence “CJ” Alexander, Jr in 2008, her mother, Julie Day just recently in 2018, brother in law Wyndell Alexander in 2016, and in laws: Clyde and Joyce Alexander.
A home going service is planned for Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the New Church Without Walls, Hernando, FL, with Reverend Doug Alexander officiating. Friends are invited to call at the church and join the family in visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place following the service at Hernando Community Cemetery, Hernando, FL. Arrangements are under the care of Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
