Deborah Banthin, age 65, of Lecanto, FL, passed away at Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast on February 6, 2018. Deborah was born on February 28, 1952 in Suffern, N.Y. to the late Frederick and Shirley (Hyslip) Banthin.
She made Citrus County, FL her home a little over 2 years ago after relocating from Tuxedo, N.Y. Deborah was Catholic by faith and a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Beverly Hills, FL. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant throughout her life and enjoyed going to the beach and traveling in her spare time.
Those left to mourn Deborah’s passing are her nieces: Regina Dawson of Portsmouth, VA, Heather Sansolane of Las Vegas, NV, Jennifer Sevrie of Cherry Plains, N.Y.; and her very dear friend of over 20 years, Janet Sugar of Lecanto, FL.
Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
