William E. Bidwell, 82. Lecanto, FL passed away January 13, 2018 at the Health Center at Brentwood. Bill was born in Melg County, TN on August 12, 1935 to the late Whitman and Grace (Hughes) and moved here in the early 70’s. He, along with his wife, Frances, owned and operated Bidwell Upholstery in Hernando for many years. He served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Frances (Priest) Bidwell of Lecanto; 3 children, Timothy Bidwell, Lake City, FL; Theresa Cutting, Spring Hill, FL; Joyce Atherton, Homosassa, FL; 2 brothers, Joseph and Roy Bidwell, both of Oregon; 9 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, William “Keith” Bidwell July 26, 1989, his daughter, Debra Bidwell; 6 brothers, Roy, Joe, Conley, Leonard, James, and R.B. Bidwell; and 1 sister, Wilma Alexander.
