Rebecca Jean Howell, 76, of Inverness, FL passed away January 13, 2018 at Arbor Trail Rehab & Nursing in Inverness. She was born in Virginia Beach, VA on December 31, 1941 to the late Oliver J. and Vera L. (Russell) Britt.
Rebecca was a teacher, as well as a cake decorator for Wal-Mart. She arrived in this area in 2006, coming from York, SC and was a Presbyterian by faith. She was a member of the D.A.V. Ladies Auxiliary, and loved horses, fishing, and traveling.
Rebecca is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Dennis Howell. Other survivors include her daughters, Deborah C. Osborne and her husband William of Thomasville, NC, and Carey Ann Barnes of Inverness; and 5 grandchildren.
Rebecca’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is in charge of arrangements.
