Thomas George Huber, 75, Inverness passed away January 5, 2018 at home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus & The Nature Coast. Tom was born in Mineola, NY on August 17, 1942 to the late Melvin and Muriel (Crum) Huber and came to Citrus County 38 years ago from St Petersburg. He was a retired Licensed Contractor and of the Protestant Faith. Tom enjoyed building sail boats and racing them in competition.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Evelyn Johnson Huber; 3 sons, Thomas G. Huber, Jr., Ringoes, NJ; Mark R. March, Ocklawaha, FL; James A. Strickland, Inverness; 2 daughters, Leslie Evelyn Clark, Alum Creek, WV; Belinda Pearl Tomlinson, Huntsville, TX; 1 sister, Carol H. Berning, Jupiter, FL; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 1 great great grandchild: his aunt, Alice Crum of Inverness.

A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be conducted Friday, January 12th at 3:00 PM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Kell of the Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
