Marjorie V. Grice, age 94, of Inverness, FL, passed away November 7, 2017, at Citrus Health and Rehab, Inverness. Marjorie was born on November 20, 1922 in Sylvania, GA to the late John and Eva (Evans) Robbins.
She was married to Odis Grice for 22 years until his passing on May 17, 2005. Marjorie was a homemaker throughout her life that enjoyed cooking, fishing, boating and spending time with her family. A resident of Inverness since 1989, she attended worship services at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Inverness, FL. Marjorie was a woman of great faith and would want everyone to know that Christ is the only way to get to Heaven!
Those left to mourn Marjorie’s passing include her son, Don Jones of Inverness, FL; daughter: Peggy Sherman and her husband Les of Tampa, FL; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service for Marjorie is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Lake Carroll Baptist Church, Tampa, FL, with Reverend Kyle Slater officiating. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Burial will take place following the service at Garden of Memories, Tampa, FL.
