Patricia Ann Pullen, age 88, of Inverness, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2017 while surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. Patricia was born on September 27, 1929 in Trenton, N.J. to the late Earl and Violet (Haines) Wilson.
On October 3, 1948, she married Frank L. Pullen with whom she had just celebrated 69 years of loving marriage. Patricia and Frank made Citrus County, FL their home in 1981 after relocating from New Jersey. A Baptist by faith, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Inverness and had enjoyed singing in the church choir for a number of years. Patricia greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, taking cruises with friends, and had a heart-felt passion for the unborn. Through the years she orchestrated and enjoyed many family and holiday dinners. Her grandchildren especially remember her delicious, flaky pie crusts. While living in New Jersey and Florida, she greatly enjoyed being outdoors walking, bike riding or working in the yard.
In addition to her loving husband Frank, those left to mourn Patricia’s passing are her sons: Mark Pullen of Inverness, FL; Brett Pullen and his wife Norma Jean of Inverness, FL; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, special family members: Peggy Pullen, Robin Crocker and Robert C. Pullen, Jr., along with several nieces, nephews and in-laws too numerous to mention them all by name. Patricia was preceded in death by sons, Gary and Bryan Pullen and brother, Earl Wilson.
A celebration of life memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the First Baptist Church of Inverness. In lieu of flowers, Patricia’s family requests that donations be made in her memory to any Pro-Life organization or to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
