Albert E. Sampsell, Jr., 68, of Floral City, FL passed away November 4, 2017, at Arbor Trail Rehab & Nursing in Inverness, FL. He was born in Cleveland, OH on December 16, 1948 to the late Albert E. and Phyllis M. (Oppenlander) Sampsell.

Albert was a Youth Minister, and arrived in this area in 2008, coming from Brunswick, OH. He was a Christian by faith, and previously was a grocery store manager for several grocery stores, as well as an event planner for all types of activities. Albert was a Boy Scout Leader, and very involved in the community. He was past Vice-President of the Floral City Merchants Association, and loved Disk Golfing.

Albert was preceded in death by one brother, Greg Sampsell. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joy S. Samsell; his sons Albert E. Sampsell III and his wife Priscella of Mesquite, Texas, Craig Sampsell and his wife Melinda of Akron, OH, Matthew Sampsell and his companion Tammy of Largo, FL, and Michael “Cody” Sampsell and his companion Brandy, also of Largo; brothers Richard and Keith Sampsell; sisters Debbie Matthews, Barbara Tacchitte, Laurie Kessel, and Peggy Justic; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
