Elmer Burton Williamson, 93, Brookville, FL passed away October 14, 2017 at the Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville. Elmer was born in Muskegan, MI on November 25, 1923 to the late Elmer H. and Martha (Thompson) Williamson and moved to Brooksville, FL in 1985. He worked for the Kelvinator Appliance Company on their assembly line and served our country in the U.S. Army, enlisting in September, 1946 and honorably discharged in 1947.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Nina (Savage) Williamson; three children, Marjorie Taylor of Allendale, MI; Marie Williamson, Kentwood, MI; Rebecca Berens, Greenville, MI; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Matthysee-Kuiper-DeGraff Funeral Home in Allendale, MI. Time and date of services are pending. Burial will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park, Grand Rapids, MI. The Chas E Davis Funeral Home of Inverness is in charge of local arrangements.
