Mr. FN Thomas, 80, Lecanto passed away September 11, 2017 in Ocala Regional Medical Center. FN was born in Nashville, GA on July 26, 1937 to the late Franklin and Melva (Peacock) Thomas and came here in 1964 from there. He was a retired electrician and welder, being a member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local No. 1205. He also was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Crystal River.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Sylvia Kelly Thomas of Lecanto; Danny Lee Thomas and Deanna McGee and husband Stephen, both of Lecanto; 2 step sons, Ellis Herman Roberts and wife, Teresa of Cape Canaveral; Jon Michael Roberts of Lecanto; his brother, Kevin Thomas, Nashville, GA; 3 sisters, Carolyn Music, Fernandina Beach, FL; Juanez Johnston and Judy Dasher, both of East Bend, NC; 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Allen Carroll Roberts and his 2 brother, Charles and Benny Thomas.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM from the First Assembly of God Church in Crystal River with Rev. Richard Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Lecanto. The family will receive friends at the Chas E Davis Funeral Home Friday from 5-7 PM.
