Katherine A. Hamilton, age 71, of Inverness, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Katherine was born on March 17, 1946 in Framingham, MA to the late Charles and Ellen (Hansen) Weickers.
She made Citrus County her home in 1988 after relocating from Woonsocket, R.I. and was a parishioner of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, Inverness. In her spare time, Katherine enjoyed making crafts and sewing. She had a great personality and was a loving mother and caregiver who loved her family with all her heart.
Those left to mourn Katherine’s passing include her sons: Daniel Hamilton (Bonnie) of Michigan, Keith Weickers of Rhode Island; daughters: Dawn Betzold (Leonard) of Inverness, FL, Doris Thistle (Steven) of Wildwood, FL; brother, Allen Weickers of Maine; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Katherine was preceded in death by 2 brother, Wayne and Billy Weickers.
Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
