Alfred Fillman LeHeup, Jr., 96, of Inverness, FL passed away July 12, 2017 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Atlanta, GA on December 19, 1920 to the late Alfred F. and Ida (Glover) LeHeup, Sr. Alfred was the Regional Vice President for Gulf Life Insurance Company for 35 years.

Alfred arrived in this area in 1983, coming from St. Petersburg, FL. He attended Ft. Cooper Baptist Church in Inverness, and was a 72 year member of the Wildwood Masonic Lodge # 92, F&AM. He was also a 32 degree Mason, and Past President of both the Lions and Rotary Clubs. Alfred was a football coach and teacher at Wildwood High School, as well as a Scoutmaster. He loved golfing and watching the Florida Gators.

Mourning his passing is his loving wife of 42 years, Betty LeHeup. He is also survived by his children, Sidney M. LeHeup of Knoxville, TN, Casey Dean Love of Interlochen, MI, and Julieanne Wilson and her husband Brian, also of Interlochen; sister Daisey M. Galister of Zephryhills, FL; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Alfred was preceded in death by a son, Alfred F. LeHeup III, and a brother, William A. LeHeup.

A Masonic Service for Alfred will be conducted on Wednesday, 3:00 P.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to service.
