Charlotte L. Sharp, age 67, of Homosassa, FL went to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Evergreen Woods Health and Rehab in Spring Hill, FL. Charlotte was born on July 27, 1949 in Baltimore, MD to the late William and Charlotte Ann (Pindell) Brown. S
She was employed as a Human Resources Representative for Toyota Automotive throughout her life. On February 27, 2003 she married Richard L. Sharp, Sr. with whom she shared 14 loving years of marriage. Charlotte and Richard made Citrus County their home in 2009 after relocating from Baltimore, MD and became active parishioners at Freedom For Life Family Church in Homosassa, FL. She was a teacher for the CEF – Child Evangelism Fellowship program and had just finished CEF instructor training so she could share the tools of how to teach that program with others. Charlotte was a Chairperson for the Citrus and Hernando CEF Chapter, and also a devoted volunteer to the Blessings in a Backpack program. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing, playing golf, cooking and entertaining others. Charlotte will be remembered as an energetic and kind person that had a tremendous love for the Lord Jesus Christ.
In addition to her husband Richard, those left to mourn Charlotte’s passing are her daughter, Vicki L. Huff of Glen Burnie, MD; stepdaughter, Debbie Sharp of Colorado; stepson, Rick Sharp, Jr. and his wife Roxanne of West Virginia; 2 brothers: Bruce Brown and his wife Nancy of Notthingham, MD, Dennis Brown and family of Arizona; grandchildren: Tyler, Andru, Matthew, Ella, Patrick, Wayne, Victoria, Danielle; and great grandchildren: Benjamin, Rayleigh, Raymond, Bella; Nieces: Anna Pittinger, Kimberly Brown; nephew, Scott Pindell.
A Celebration of Life Service for Charlotte has been planned for Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 4:30 PM from the Freedom For Life Family Church, Homosassa, FL with Pastor Douglas DeRespiris officiating. Charlotte’s family will receive friends in visitation beginning at 3:30 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made in Charlotte’s memory to the Freedom For Life Family Church, 6430 S Lewdingar Dr., Homosassa, FL 34446.
