Theresa Rose Woythaler, 94 years old passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2017. She was the widow of Bernard L. Woythaler. They shared 73 devoted years together. Born on June 17, 1923 in New York, New York she was the daughter of Rose and Raphael Pietrocola. In earlier years she was employed by the Citrus County Property Appraiser’s Office and added a loving touch to the students of Busy Bee Preschool as a teacher. Theresa was a founder of the Inverness Highlands Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary to which she dedicated many years of service.  As a volunteer, she will be fondly remembered as the “Ice Cream Lady” to Pleasant Grove Elementary School’s Alumni. She was an avid Wheel of Fortune enthusiast and a card shark like no other. Theresa was of the Catholic Faith and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her seven children Ralph (Barbara) Woythaler, Michael (Maria) Woythaler, Lawrence (Maria Teresa) Woythaler, Bernard (Stephanie)Woythaler, Laura (James) Manos, Theresa (Gary) Godwin and John (Lindy) Woythaler. She was blessed with twenty three grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren. Theresa was preceded in death by her loving husband Bernard and her siblings Anthony Pietrocola, Marie Englese, Eugene Pietrocola and Rita Sweeney.

Arrangements are made by Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, 3075 S. Florida Ave., Inverness. On Saturday, June 10, 2017 a viewing will commence at 9:00 AM and a Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, with interment immediately following at Oak Ridge Cemetery Mausoleum, Inverness. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to Hospice of Citrus and Nature Coast, P.O 64170, Beverly Hills, Fl. 34464.
