Johnny M. Williams, Jr. age 65, of Inverness, FL passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Johnny was born on July 25, 1951 in Tampa, FL to the late Johnny Martin and Agnes (Cassadi) Williams.
On August 6, 1994 he married Jovanna (Romano) with whom he shared 22 years of loving marriage. Their wedding day was a special memory for both Johnny and Jovanna as it was the date of the first NASCAR Brickyard 400 race which they watched with their wedding guests after the ceremony. They made Citrus County their home in 2004 after relocating from Land O’ Lakes, FL. Johnny was an excellent musician and played with several bands in a number of venues over the years. He also sold and repaired guitars. In addition to playing music, in his spare time Johnny loved spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, those left to mourn Johnny’s passing are his son, John Shannon Williams of Jacksonville, FL; sisters: Diane Livingston and her husband Lonny, Doris Willette and her husband Bill, all of Tampa, FL; and 2 grandchildren: Joshua and Zachary. Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
