Joseph Robert Egbert, 62, Ocala, formerly of Inverness passed away at Legacy House (Hospice) in Ocala on March 25, 2017. Joseph was born on January 20, 1955 in Jersey City, NJ to Charles E. and Joan (Borer) Egbert, Sr. He moved here from Jersey City in 1980. He worked as a painter in both commercial and residential construction and was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his mother, Joan Egbert of Inverness; 5 brothers, Charles Egbert, Jr.; Donald B. Egbert, Arthur D. Egbert, Robert W. Egbert, and Eric P. Egbert, all of Inverness; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Egbert, Sr June 13, 1997 and his brother, George Egbert on April 11, 1990.
