Jeannette M. Hall, 75, of Ocala, FL passed away March 4, 2017 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. She was born in West Frankfort, IL on July 4, 1941 to the late Charles Joby and Georgia Maxine (Culbertson) Smith.
Jeannette was a Nurse at VAMC in Marion, IL, and also in Gainesville. She arrived in the Ocala area 22 years ago, coming from West Frankfort. Jeannette and her husband James were married in 1962, and enjoyed 54 years of loving marriage until James’s passing in 2016. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, playing bingo and dominoes, going on cruises, and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joby Smith. Jeannette is survived by her daughters, Linda A. Mattingly and her husband Joseph of Inverness, FL, and Catherine J. Hall and her partner Rhonda Allende of Wilmington, DE; her sister Nora Blain and her husband Robert of Alabaster, AL; and her grandchildren Hannah and Abigale Mattingly.
