Annette “Mema” Bonner, 97, Inverness, passed away March 4, 2017 at home under the loving care of her family. Mrs Bonner was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 19, 1919 to the late Fred and Maryann (Fascia) Pettigrosso and came to this area in 1986 from Tampa. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Annette, known as “Mema” to her family and friends, was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved working in her daughter’s law office, traveling with the family on vacations, and constantly going to Disney World. She had a hug and smile for everyone. “Mema” enjoyed being active and greatly enjoyed the companionship of her many friends.

Left to cherish her memory are two children, Craig J Bonner and his wife, Carol of Tampa; Jeannette Haag and her husband, Larry of Inverness; 2 grandchildren, Stephen Bonner and his wife Kristy and Tiffany (Haag) Halley and her husband, Jason; 2 great grandchildren, Brock and Cole. She was predeceased by her brother, John Pettigrosso, her 2 sisters, Florence Pettigrosso, Lillian Graczyk, and her husband, Victor.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, March 11th at 12 Noon at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Cummings, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home where a Wake Vigil Service will be conducted at 6:30 PM.
