Earl W. Kuehne

Earl William Kuehne, age 90, of Inverness, FL passed away on January 21 2017 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Earl was born on June 11, 1926 in Baltimore, MD to the late Carl and Naomi (Michael) Kuehne. He served his country in the United States Army and was a Veteran of World War II.

After his military service, Earl was a Police Officer for the Baltimore Police Department. After retirement from the police force, Earl made Citrus County his home in 1975. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors and camping. Earl was a lifetime member of the Floral City VFW Post #7122.

Those left to mourn his passing are his sons: Richard G. Kuehne and his wife Carrie of Inverness, FL, William E. Key-Nee of Inverness, FL; brother: Ronald Kuehne; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jewel and one brother. Earl’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
