Ada Opal Creech, 75, Beverly Hills, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 16, 2017. Opal was born in Verne, KY on May 4, 1941 to the late Archie and Lillie (Carr) Anderson and moved to Beverly Hills in 1998 from Troy, OH.
She was a retired educator, having taught elementary school for over 32 years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of The Cumberlands and Master’s Degree from Wright State University. Opal was a charter member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 18 years, Richard Creech, Beverly Hills, FL; 3 sons, Gary Donaldson, Lakewood, WI; Scott (Kimberly) Donaldson, Piqua, OH; Craig (Lori) Donaldson, Winchester, KY; 2 daughters, Lisa Creech, Cincinnati, OH; Karyn (Thom) Alten, Cincinnati, OH; 2 sisters, Janice Partin, Williamsburg, KY; Val Sears, Westland, MI; 11 grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her first husband, Dudley Donaldson in 1988, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
Opal’s life will be remembered and celebrated at a Memorial Service on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 4:00 PM from the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Inverness with Rev. Greg Kell officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Cornerstone Baptist Church Building Fund or to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.
Additional Memorial Services with be conducted on Saturday, February 11, 2017, 4:00PM at the Union Baptist Church in Troy, OH, with Pastor Dale Adkins, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Union Baptist Church from 3:00 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Union Baptist Church in Troy, OH.
