Alice C. Hadley, 77, Inverness passed away Jan 13, 2017 in Hospice of Citrus & The Nature Coast in Lecanto. Mrs Hadley was born in Elkview, WV, on January 12, 1940, the daughter of Earnest and Elsie (Casto) Pendleton. She moved to this area in 1972 from Charleston, WV. She was employed at Citrus Memorial Hospital as a Transcriptionist and was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Floral City.
Left to mourn her loss is her son, Gregory Teel and his wife, Myra of Inverness; 1 brother, Ernest Pendleton, II, Ocklawaha, FL; 2 sisters, Susie Sowder of Ocala and Annis Walker of Nitro, WV; 6 grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman A. Hadley on December 25, 2003.
At Alice’s request, there will be no services. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.
