Betty Delores Hollowell, 78 of Beverly Hills, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Villages Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Lady Lake. Betty was born in Stinesville, Indiana on August 1, 1938 to the late William W. and Elsie Marie (Reynolds) Hovious.
She came to Florida in 1960 from Indiana and moved Citrus County 11 years ago from Ft. Lauderdale. Betty enjoyed geneology, researching her family history, collecting guns, loved classic cars and her dog, “Smokey Bear”.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Sharon Robinson of Lecanto; Jay (Tocarra) Robinson of Norfolk, VA; Petie Stewart, Tony Stewart (Kim) and Ron Stewart (Jen) all of Bedford, IN; 2 brothers: Bob and Steve Hovious of Gosport, IN; grandchildren: Sean Michael Taylor (Aimee), Caitlin Robinson, Ian Robinson, Jake Robinson, Gabe Robinson; great grandchildren: Layn Taylor and Alyssa Marie Taylor; and her son in law, Pete Sisk of Lecanto, FL. She was preceded in death by her brothers: George Hovious, Earl Hovious, David Hovious, Paul Hovious, Mark Hovious, Smokey Hovious; and sister, Helen Hovious Ackerman.
Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
