Jo Nell McElmurray, 82, Inverness passed away January 9, 2017 at Hospice of Citrus & The Nature Coast in Lecanto. Mrs McElmurray was born in Hazelhurst, Georgia on May 6, 1934 to the late William H. and Lola Inell (Jones) Bennett and moved to his area 12 years ago from Kathleen, Georgia. She was a graduate of the Georgia Business College in Macon, GA; member of the American Dairy Goat Association and the Cameilla Society.
Survivors include 2 children, Gregory Allen (Pam) Davis, Perry, GA; Grace Kathleen (Frank Ranallo) Davis, Inverness, FL; her sister, Beth Bennett, Lithia, FL; 4 grandchildren, Allen Davis, Kimberly James, Tommy Davis, and Clay Ranallo; 3 great grandchildren, Case Marks, Mackayla Davis, and Legend James.
Mrs. McElmurray was precededed in death by her husband, Joseph McElmurray, Jr and her 6 siblings: James Bennett, Marion Bennett, Frances Swain, Eva White, A.J. Bennett, and Hearn Bennett.
Funeral services for Mrs. McElmurray will be held on Tuesday, January 17th at 2:00 PM from the Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, GA. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness.
