Bonnie C. Curry, age 69, of Inverness, FL passed away January 4, 2017 with her loving husband by her side at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Bonnie was born on August 30, 1947 in Washington, D.C. however, she was raised in Gainesville, FL after her family moved there in her childhood.
On April 1, 1972 she married John Curry with whom she shared 45 years of loving marriage. Bonnie worked for a number of years as an Adult Education Coordinator. However, her true passion was caring for, and spending time with her husband. Bonnie was a good cook and also enjoyed making stained glass. She raised Angel Fish and birds including African Greys, Cockatiels and Quakers. Bonnie was an avid motorcycle rider, especially dirt bikes. She loved riding dirt bikes with her husband John and later in life enjoyed riding street bikes with him. She had won many trophies over the years for her riding skills. Bonnie was a great wife and friend that will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to know her.
In addition to her husband John, Bonnie is survived by her mother, Laverne Chesser of Alachua, FL; and brothers: Ronnie Chesser of Alachua, FL and Bobby Chesser of Gainesville, FL.
The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
