Guillermo Araos, age 84, of Inverness, FL passed away at his residence on December 14, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Guillermo was born on October 5, 1932 in Tocopilla, Chile. On November 23, 1951 he married the love of his life, Sonia Sandoval, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Throughout his life, Guillermo owned and operated his own grocery store and moved to Citrus County 2 years ago from Hollywood, FL to be closer to family. He loved spending time with his family and socializing with friends. Guillermo also enjoyed listening to music and taking long walks through his neighborhood.
In addition to his loving wife Sonia, those left to mourn Guillermo’s passing include his sons: Hugo and Jorge Araos, both of Puerto Rico; daughter, Ruth Araos of Inverness, FL; 7 grandchildren: Karla, Paola, Hugo, Guillermo, Angel, Nicole, Alberto; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to join Guillermo’s family in visitation at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory on Saturday, December 17, 2016 beginning at 3:00 PM.
