Bernard A Goddard

Bernard Allen Goddard, 86, of Inverness, FL passed away December 6, 2016 in Inverness. He was born in Alcona, MI on September 15, 1930 to the late Russell and Esther Goddard.

Bernard was a tool and die engineer for General Motors Corp, and a principal owner of Tri-Star Products. Bernard was also an instructor at General Motors Institute and Withlacoochee Technical College.

He lived in Michigan, New York, and Rhode Island before arriving in this area in 1991. He was a board member of Long Island Youth For Christ and a deacon at Victory Baptist Church in Inverness.

Bernard was preceded in death by a daughter, Nannette Goddard of Kingwood, TX. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Sue Goddard. Other survivors include his children Christopher Goddard and his wife Susan of Plano,TX, and Elizabeth Rickert of Levittown, NY; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
