Ramon Rosa, age 84, of Inverness, FL passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at Florida Hospital in Tampa. Ramon was born on July 4, 1932 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico to the late Sergio and Georgina (Maldonado) Rosa. He made Citrus County his home after relocating from Tampa, FL and worked as a Truck Driver in the Commercial Trucking Industry .
Those left to mourn Ramon’s passing are his sons: Julio Rosa and Gilbert Rosa of New York and Felix Rosa of Inverness, FL; daughters: Sandra Rosa of Tampa, FL and Nancy Watts of Inverness, FL; brothers: Jesus Rosa, Sergio Rosa, Ramon Rosa and Carlos Maldonado; sister, Eusebia Rodriguez; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parent’s, Ramon was preceded in death by three children: Carlos Rosa, William Rosa and Marie Rosa.
A Funeral Service of Remembrance is planned for Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Ernesto Rojas officiating. The family will receive friends in visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Burial will take place following the service at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
