Steven D Wilson

Steven Dewayne Wilson, age 50, of Inverness, FL passed away on November 6, 2016 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto, FL. Steven was born on April 24, 1966 in Bartow, FL to Sharon (Shields) and the late Charles D. Wilson. He was employed as an electrician in the construction industry. Pentecostal by faith, Steven attended services at the Crossgate Church of God, Inverness, FL. He called both Citrus and Polk Counties his home and split his time between the two over the past 25 years. Steven enjoyed sports and had participated in boxing and little league baseball. He also loved the outdoors and spent much of his spare time fishing.
Those left to mourn Steven’s passing are his daughter, Sara Renee’ Wilson of Tallahassee, FL; his mother, Sharon Wilson of Inverness, FL; brothers: Charles Douglas Wilson, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Haines City, FL, James Richard Wilson and his wife Georgia of Lake Wales, FL, Michael Todd Bennett and his wife Chrissy of Winter Haven, FL; and sister, Tina Marie Spangler of Inverness, FL. Steven was preceded in death by his father Charles on June 16, 2016. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
