Frederick James Wisswell, age 59, of Lecanto, FL passed away at his residence on November 6, 2016. Frederick was born on May 9, 1957 in Port Huron, MI to the late Russell Wisswell and Joan (Hinson) Compeau. He was employed as a Machinist in the Plastic Injection industry throughout his life. Two years ago, Frederick married Donna (Houchlei) and it was at that time they made Citrus County their home after relocating from Michigan. A Baptist by faith, he had attended services at the Jesus Lighthouse Church in Port Huron, MI. Frederick was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in both Lecanto, FL and Michigan. He enjoyed playing baseball in his youth and watching the Detroit Tigers on television. Frederick also enjoyed watching football and was a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He also liked to travel and spending time with Donna and his dogs. Frederick adored his children and loved them with all his heart.
In addition to his wife Donna, those left to mourn his passing are his son, Frederick James Wisswell, Jr. of Daytona, FL; daughters: Tonya Fulton of Luling, TX, Christiana (Chad) Walls of Sequin, TX, Billie Jo (Chad) Wisswell of Bastrop, TX, Katrina Wisswell of Port Huron, MI; brother, Paul (Shelley) Gave of Fair Haven, MI; sister, Tammy (Steve) Zaniewski of Chesterfield, MI; step-daughter, Felicia Ladouceur of Belding, MI; and several grandchildren.
The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
