Karen J Coulson

Karen Jean Coulson, 64, of Beverly Hills, FL passed away on October 28, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, FL. She was born in Bakersfield, CA on June 6, 1952 to the late Richard M. and Jean M.(Ryan) Thorpe. Karen was a hairdresser who was raised in up state New York, and arrived in this area in 1986 coming from Pinellas Park, FL. She was a Baptist by faith, and enjoyed playing bingo, and reading. She was past-president and lifetime member of the Inverness VFW Post 4337 and the Beverly Hills Lions Club Ladies Auxilliaries. She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Clive Coulson. Other survivors include her children Christina Ripa and her wife Cathy of Avon Park, FL, and Kathleen Reed and her husband Kevin of Lecanto, FL; brother Richard M. Thorpe, Jr., and sisters Linda Miner, Lila Roush, and Vicky Johnson; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
