Charles Faver Marsh, Sr. “Chuck” passed away peacefully at his home in Crystal River on Thursday, October 27, 2016, with family at his side. Mr Marsh was born in Tampa, Florida on November 1, 1928 to Nell (Wheeler) and John Marsh, Sr.

He retired after 21 years with the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He served in WW II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam war. He moved to Citrus County in 1989 and was one of the founding fathers of VFW Post 7122 in Floral City. He was a member of the Cooties, and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Masons.

He is survived by his three children: Maggie Baker and her husband Tony of Shavertown, PA, JoNell Bates of Crystal River, FL, Charles Faver Marsh, Jr. and his wife Carol of Lakeland, FL, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

The family is available for visitation on Monday,November 14, 2016, at 12:00 Noon at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL, to remember and celebrate the life of Mr. Marsh. Following visitation, VFW Post 7122 Honor Guard will pay final tribute to their lost comrade at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL, where he will rest forever with his wife Patricia Marsh, who awaits him.
