Charles B. Edge, 85, Floral City passed away peacefully October 7, 2016 at home under the loving care of his family and Hernando-Pasco Hospice. Mr. Edge was born in Cedartown, GA on April 1, 1931, to the late Cornelius and Lillie Edge and came to this area in 1996 from Coral Gables, FL. He was a Protestant by faith, and retired from the Dade County School Board as an Auditor. Charles served our country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughter, Idalmis Cordero and husband Robert of Pembroke Pines, FL; 2 grandchildren, Kevin and Michelle Cordero, and several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Cecilia Edge on October 6, 2008.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, November 5th at 11:00 AM, from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with the family greeting friends at the funeral home 30 minutes prior to service.
