Warren J. Crusco, 91, of Inverness, FL passed away October 2, 2016 under the care of Citrus Health and Rehab in Inverness. He was born in Manhatten, NY on January 3, 1925 to the late Anthony and Theresa (Rizzo) Crusco. Warren was a U.S. Army, WWII veteran and twice recepient of the Purple Heart. He arrived in this area in 1983 coming from Wading River, NY. Warren was a Catholic by faith, and a Foreman for the N.Y. Departmant of Sanitation in Bronx, N.Y. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards, puzzles, and loved spending time with his family. Warren was preceded in death by his loving wife Antoinette in 2004. He is survived by his children, Michael Crusco of Inverness, Barbara Malpica and her husband Bob of Inverness, Judy Madia and her husband Joe of Cape Coral, FL, and Sharon Thomann of Hypoluxo, FL; sister Teresa Crusco; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Warren’s urn will be laid to rest with his wife at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness at a later date. Cremation arrangements by Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
