Ann Evelyn Hoffman, age 75, of Crystal River, FL died September 26, 2016 at Monroe Regional Medical Center, Ocala. Ann was born on March 13, 1941 in Cairo, IL to the late Earl Edwin and Marian (Ross) Taylor. She moved to Florida 36 years ago from Mt. Vernon, IL and was a homemaker throughout her life. Ann was an Evangelical Christian by faith and enjoyed collecting dolls, and crocheting. She especially like crafting items for her family and spending time with them.
Those left to mourn Ann’s passing and cherish her precious memory are her son, Kenneth James “Jimmy” Sumner and his wife Dena Cryer of Crystal River, FL; daughters: Janet Lawrence of Crystal River FL and Donna Lockard of Inglis, FL; sisters: Margaret Whitton of Texas and Sarah Lovin Taylor of Illinois; nine grandchildren: Jack Hacker, Sarah Hacker, LeeAnn Lawrence, Christopher Lawrence, Cody Cassidy, Samantha Osborne, Jacob Cryer, Diana Warren and Lucy Bebout; and several great-grandchildren. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
