Nina “Faye” Nave, 73, Hernando, FL died at home on Sept 17, 2016 following a lengthy illness. Faye was born in Banner Elk, NC on Nov 17, 1942 to the late Clifton and Bertha (Heaton) Roark and moved to Florida in 1968 from Elizabethton, Tennessee. She assisted her husband as bookkeeper for Glenn’s Underground Trenching Service and Hernando Bait & Tackle Shop. Prior to retirement, she was a store clerk for the Majic Market Convenience Store in Inverness. Faye enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers and plants around her residence. She was a member of Ft. Cooper Baptist Church in Inverness, FL where she attended for many years.
Left to mourn her loss is her husband of 54 years, Glenn Nave; 1 brother, Larry Roark of Roan Mountain, TN; 4 sisters, Jean Crain and Sandra Miller, both of Elizabethton, TN; Judy Heaton and Shirley Johnson, both of Roan Mountain, TN; many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Sept 23rd, 2016 at 7:00 PM from the Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton, TN with burial following on Saturday, 10:00 AM in the Emmert Cemetery of Elizabethton. Visitation is on Friday from 5-7 PM at Tetrick Funeral Home. The Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory is assisting the family with Florida arrangements.
