Joseph Genova, 68, of Inverness, FL passed away September 2, 2016 at his residence in Inverness under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. He was born in Medford, MA on February 18, 1948 to the late Joseph J. and Ellen L. (Dwyer) Genova. Joseph was a telephone equipment installer, and arrived in this area in 2004, coming from Londonderry, NH. He was an avid fisherman and a U.S. Army veteran. Left to mourn his loss is his loving wife of 44 years, Janet M. Genova of Inverness; brother, John Genova and his wife Ann of Hampton, NH; sisters Ellen McGowan and her husband James of Oak Bluffs, MA, and Wendy Genova of Amherst, NH. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
