Richard S Cleaveland

Richard S. Cleaveland, 78, of Inverness, Florida passed away August 29, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Hamden, NY on February 10, 1938 to the late L. Ray and Irene (Brant) Cleaveland. Richard was a U.S. Army veteran, and a bank auditor in the banking business. He arrived in this area in 1998, coming from Naples, FL and enjoyed fishing and reading. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie S. Cleaveland. Survivors include his sons Richard J. Cleaveland of Inverness, and Andrew Cleaveland of Poplar Bluff, MO; brother John Cleaveland and his wife Jane of Leesburg, FL., and sister Elaine Allen and her husband Don of Hemlock, NY; and 3 grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
