Harold Franklin Waller, 78, of Inverness, Florida passed away July 13, 2016 at Legacy House in Ocala, Florida. He was born on December 5, 1937 in Spotsylvania, VA to the late Harold and Fannie Mae (Grimes) Waller.
Harold was a U.S. Navy veteran, and a Methodist by faith. He was a construction manager, and arrived in this area in 1997, coming from Youngstown, OH. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Helen Waller, in 2005, a daughter, Donna Hunter, and a sister Peggy Kendall. Survivors include his children: Deborah (Brian) Bishop of Youngstown, OH, Doreen Waller of Maryland, Bonnie (Abraham) Colon of Inverness, FL, and Amanda Cheves (Mike Brooks) of Williston, FL; brother Michael Waller of Fredericksburg, VA; and sister Clara Newton of Fredericksburg, VA. 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service with military honors is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, 11:00 A.M. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
