Barbara A. Dullaghan, 58, of Inverness, FL passed away April 22, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. She was born on August 7, 1957 in Jamaica, Queens, NY to the late Edwin Grayford and Ruth Lillian (Kwaak) Shaver.
Barbara was a very talented cosmetologist, and was employed by several businesses. She arrived in this area in 1986, coming from North Babylon, NY, and was a Messianic Jew. Barbara enjoyed thrift shopping, gardening, gift giving, and spending time with her family and friends. She was also an excellent, self-taught quilter. She was truly a “people person”, always having compassion and loving to hear other people’s stories.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Brian Patrick Dullaghan Jr.; 3 children, Brian Patrick Dullaghan III and his wife, Lyndsey of Adrian, MI; Melanie Dullaghan, Inverness; Melissa Alling and husband Sean of Citrus Springs; 1 brother, Edwin Grayford Shaver II of Lake Havasu, AZ; 3 half brothers, Michael Shaver, Greensboro, NC; Danny Shaver, Greensboro, NC; Donnie Winter, Tampa, FL; 4 half sisters: Bonnie Scanlon, Franklin, NC; Melissa Hulsey, Rome, GA; Winnie Shaver, Greensboro, NC; Vivian Shaver, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren: Annabelle, Harlee, and Cassidy Dullaghan of Michigan; Brittany, Kaitlyn, and William Sanborn of Inverness; and Sean Alling Jr. of Citrus Springs.
