Josephine Cameron, 84, Inverness passed away April 8, 2016 in the Hospice of Citrus & The Nature Coast facility in Inverness. Mrs Cameron was born in Liberty, KY on May 27, 1931 to the late Jackson and Pearl (Derringer) Gibson. During her employment years, she was a lens inspector in the eye glass manufacturing business and was a member of the First Church of God on Jasmine Lane in Inverness.
Survivors include her step son, Bradley A. Brown and his wife, Linda of Lutz, FL; her step daughter, Pamela Hahn of Indianapolis; her brother, Shirley Gibson of Cloverdale, IN; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 2001 and a step daughter, Evelyn Roscoe.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Thursday, April 14th at 3:00 PM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with The Rev Tom Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
