Donald Gordon Miles, 60, of Inverness, FL passed away April 5, 2016 at his residence in Inverness. He was born in Savannah, GA on October 12, 1955 to the late Donald Dozier and Rose Marie (Martin) Miles.
Donald was a U.S. Army veteran, and arrived in this area in 2003, coming from Palm Beach County, FL. He was a maintenance person for Wal-Mart and enjoyed playing the guitar, watching wrestling on T.V. and being outdoors.
Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 20 years, Carol I. Miles. Other survivors include his children, Floyd (Tammy) Miles, Tom (Tracy) Miles, and Donald G. Miles II, all of Oregon, Stephen (Leeann) Miles of Mississippi, and Damion Miles of Inverness; step-children Ryan (Audrey) Liscum of New York, Jon Egnasher and Karlene Liscum both of Florida; brother Tom Denby; sisters Cathy Hester, Teresa Fitzgerald, and Martha Hubbell; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
