William J.”Billy” Campbell, 67, passed away peacefully in his home in Floral City, FL on February 20, 2016. Billy was born on November 3, 1948 in McMinnville, TN to the late Winford A. and Anna Frances Campbell.

He worked as a Health Physics Technician in the Nuclear Power Industry and served his country as a member of the United States Navy. In 1970, William moved to Citrus County from Dade City, FL They enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors, gardening, fishing, hunting, and loved woodworking.

“Billy” is survived by his wife of 44 years, Shirley M. Campbell, Floral City, FL; 3 daughters: Stacy (David) Dates, Inverness, FL, Angie (Randy) Headley, Floral City, FL, and Nancy (Dickie) Headley, St. Petersburg, FL; 2 brothers, Jerry Campbell, McMinnville, TN, and Roger (Brenda) Campbell, Spencer, TN; 2 sisters, Amy (Jimmy) Swann, Dade City, FL, and Nancy Freedle, McMinnville, TN; 12 grandchildren: Desmond, Zackary, Tanna, Andy, Quinton, Gabriel, Carrera, Randy Jr, Jordan, Joshua, Bryce, and Asia; 4 great grandchildren, Colton, Weston, Bella, and Maverick; Sister in law, Sandy Campbell, Franklin, TN. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeannie Ora Campbell; his brother, Jimmy Campbell; and a special niece, Jessica McCall.

There will be a celebration of life service on Thursday, Feb 25th at 10:00 AM from Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Mr Charles Murray of Skyview Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in Gardens of Memories Cemetery, Tampa. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
