Lloyd D. Vann, 79, of Floral City, FL passed away February 10, 2016 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL. He was born on October 5, 1936 in Ino, AL to the late Collie O. and Essie Bell (Harrison) Vann.
Lloyd was a roofer in the construction industry, and arrived in this area in 1969, coming from Alabama. He was a Baptist by faith, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce in 2009. Survivors include his son, Anthony Lloyd Vann; step-son Robert (Joyce) Gallagher, Inverness; 2 grandchildren, Robert and Ashley; 2 great-grandchildren, Grace and Cheyanne; his good friend, “Indian”, friend and caregiver, Bill Gorton, and all his good hunting friends from Gulf Hammocks.
