Iva Mae Edwards, 93, of Inverness, FL passed away February 1, 2016 at her residence in Inverness. She was born on February 10, 1922 in Blairsville, PA to the late Frank and Elsie (Erb) Baker.
Iva was an electronics assembler and arrived in this area in 1993, coming from Miami, FL. She was a Methodist by faith, and volunteered at the Senior Services Center.
Iva is survived by her children Warren (Sandy) Algor of Inverness, Paul Algor of Sebring, FL, Nelson (Maureen) Algor of Crystal River, FL, and Sandra (Gary) Rice of Mansfield, OH; Harry and Frank Baker of Mansfield; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Paul of Inverness. A graveside service of Iva is scheduled for Friday, 1:00 P.M. at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Inverness. Chaplain Dan Lyman of Hospice of Citrus County will be officiating.
Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
