David R Lupo

David Lupo, 72 of Floral City, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast.

Mr. Lupo was born in New Haven, CT on March 25, 1943. He moved to south Florida as a child, grew up there, and retired from the City of Hialeah as a manager in their solid waste department. After retiring in 1996, he moved to Tennessee and remained there until 2006 when he returned to Florida to be near his family. David loved all water activities, including fishing and enjoyed traveling as well.

Left to mourn his loss is his wife of 52 years, Gloria Castallaw Lupo; his son, David Anthony (Jodi) Lupo, Floral City, his daughter, Angela (Joseph) Poliseno , Floral City; 3 sisters, Carol Crisante, Floral City; Deborah (Jeff) Sanderson and ; Mary Ellen Lasala, both of North Conway, NH; 3 grandchildren, Kevin and James Lupo and Kirsten Poliseno and 2 step grandchildren, Nikki Burrillo and Ashlee Martines

David’s life will be remembered and celebrated on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 4:00 PM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness, with Pastor Ron Pfeifer of the First Presbyterian Church of Inverness officiating. Cremation arrangements will follow.
