Shirley D. Bullock, 89, Inverness passed away Jan 2, 2016 at the Hospice of Citrus & The Nature Coast facility in Inverness. Mrs. Bullock was born March 20, 1926 in Syracuse, NY to the late Robert and Mary (Snyder) Truax. She came to Florida in 1987 with her late husband, Joseph Bullock who passed away Feb. 22, 1989. She worked in the air conditioning industry before retirement and was a member of St Margaret’s Episcopal Church.
She is survived by three sisters, Evelyn Hallenbeck and Dorothy Klaczko, both of Inverness and Norma Cannon of McAllen, TX; one brother, Robert Truax of Cicero, NY; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She also leaves two stepchildren, Joseph Bullock and Judith Ryder.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 4:00 PM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with The Rev. Eugene Reuman officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in St. Margaret’s Memorial Gardens.
