Everett N. McKenney, of Hernando, FL, age 74, died December 15, 2015, with his loving wife, Marilyn by his side while under the care of the staff of Hospice of the Citrus and the Nature Coast. Everett was born on October 2, 1941 to Everett McKenney, Sr. and Mildred (Davidson) McKenney in Portland, ME.
Twenty one years ago, he moved to Citrus County from Scarbourgh, ME. On April 20, 1996, he married Marilyn Baines, with whom he shared almost 20 years of marriage. Everett had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed all outdoor activities, including camping. He also loved motorcycles.
Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory are his wife Marilyn; three sons, Fred (Elizabeth) McKenney of Buxton, ME, Norman (Anna) McKenney of Lewiston, ME, and Curtis McKenney of Portland, ME; one daughter, Tammy (Jean Francois) of Fort McMurray, Canada; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is assisting the family with private arrangements.
