Jack Henry Even, 74, of Lecanto, FL died on November 6, 2015 while in the arms of his loving wife, Ruth. Jack was born on January 18, 1941 in Sheboygan, WI to the late Henry and Jeanette (Akkeren) Even.
He was a graduate of Central High School in Sheboygan, WI and later went on to become a journeyman machinist in the steel industry. On June 13, 1975 he married Ruth Ann Dekker. A man of faith, he enjoyed attending men’s prayer breakfast meetings and attending services at Seven Rivers Presbytarian Church. Jack loved going to Disney and he and Ruth tried to visit at least one to two times per month.
In addition to his wife Ruth, Jack is survived by three daughters, Patti (Jim) Walsdorf of Kiel, WI; Kelly (Dan) Murray of Howards Grove, WI; and Kim (Perry) Wentorf of Stoughton, WI. He has one surviving brother, Mick Even of Plymouth, WI and grandchildren, Nicholas, Savannah, Trent, Ty, Gladys and Elizabeth. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Matilda and Jeremy. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home is assisting the family with private cremation arrangements.
