Lloyd Jayne, 88, of Floral City, FL passed away November 1, 2015 at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, FL. He was born in Laceyville, PA on October 26, 1927 to the late Leslie and Eva (Cornell) Jayne.

Lloyd was a U.S. Army veteran, and a mail carrier for U.S.P.S. He arrived in this area 31 years ago, coming from Laceyville. He was a Methodist by faith, and Past Worshipful Master of the Franklin Lodge # 273, F&AM, in Laceyville. Lloyd enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, woodworking and fine dining.

He was preceded in death by a son, William Jayne; 3 brothers, Harold, Robert C., and Norman E. Jayne, and one grandchild, Timothy Knolles. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 69 1/2 years, Lolita Jayne; sons Rodney (Michelle) Jayne of Marlton, N.J., and Alvin Jayne of Delran, N.J.; daughters Linda Tewksbury of Floral City, and Renee (Steven) Chesner of Meshoppen, PA; sisters Juanita McMicken, Norma Williams, and Beverly Benscoter; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Lloyd’s life is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 4:00 P.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
